    Default Free Peoples Faction Sub-mod.

    So this is an Idea. Me and other people have had for HTW for a while.
    So the Free Peoples name is just for referents. Who ever makes this Sub-mod can call it and it's contents what ever they like.
    So the Free Peoples Faction is a Fusion/Alliance of all the NPC factions of HTW. Plus Mercenarys, Wild Life, And any other Idea that people want.

    This faction will use the NPC faction's units. The one's in game and the ones that were planned to be added but have not made it in yet.

    You can find the full list of Units in one of these 2 places. But they May not mach up to each other.

    Again, this is not solly my idea. It has been around for quite some time.
    So feel free to take it and make it your own.

    So, any thoughts?

    sounds nice. so you just replace all npc and rebels with one faction right?

    That sums up most of it. But they would get some or all of the Mircenarys for Hire at some point or in same way. Also they don't get any of the rebel territorys. Even if they got only all of the NPC territorys, It still may be to much, and make them OP. Then again, their power is scattered a crossed the face of Hyrule. Which may make it balanced.

    I think I'd be willing to test this, once it's up... Anything i can help with in putting it together?

    Yes, thanks for your help. It's mostly rearranging code, which is easy, but there are a few things we need as a team effort.

    So we need to know out of all types of Mercenarys, and Wild life. Which ones would be appropriate to join the Free People's faction?
    We also need a good way for the Free People's faction to recruit all of it's units, with out it being swamped by so many low/first teir units?
    Besides that, we need an idea on what Buildings they will be able to build?

    The thoughts and opinions from anyone and every one, would be appreciated.

    If there's others, I'll have to keep digging for them. All of them (apart from maybe the heroes) can be used as units. I've added my estimates of low, medium and higher tier to apply to them, but I guess we're hoping for 4,5 or maybe 6 tiers?

    Huskus4 is the Huskus Bounty Hunter unit. It's basically the Huskus Warrior Caste unit but with a sash-like garb

    This reminds me of a mod I saw where you could play as the rebels in the normal total war style campaign for the mod, It was balanced because for one, you had such a -huge- amount of territory, and had to try to hold it all against 'better trained' forces, but the other idea is that what you could recruit where, was location based, aka only certain locations could recruit certain things.

    Not a bad idea.
