I was searching first in the forums for a problem like mine. Found like 2 post but none of them provided me a solution.
So i write here in order to get an answer and finally play like i would like to. Because i really love this game, and i usually play with my pals (eventhough we are a bit too old for this )

So we tend to play multiplayer custom battles. And we found that there we couldn't use all the nations. Especially my beloved Kingdom of Jerusalem. I found someone that said that if we changed the nations order on "descr_strat", they would appear. But no, no Jerusalem was found.

We play Stainless Steel 6.4 and if you guys need more information in order to play with these nations on custom battle, just ask for it.

May the Medieval Gods bless our battles and absolve us of any lagg in our way.

I currently don't remember but can the Crusader States be played in custom battles? if not, it might be some UI related overlook.
or it might possibly linked to the locked factions thing.

Keep in mind this mod wasn't done with the multiplayer aspect as goal, even custom battle maps are kinda messed up.

Yup, everysingle nation can be played in custom battles. But the interface of custom battles is diff as the one multiplayer...seems that might be the problem. I was thinking for a way to change nations on the select nation screen...that might resolve it. But I just don't want to mess any files

But thanks for the reminder! I didn't know that custom battle maps are messed up lol

it's not like they are unplayable but some will have really weird topography because the map coordinates were not updated to match the new campaign map, that makes them really annoying to play

Maybe in the tutorials section there is something about editing the main menu UI so SS additional factions show up, i've never messed with such files so can't help you there.
