Failed Path
Greetings:
Hope You can help.
Uninstalled MD2 due to constant crashing at the beginning of a new season while in he Grand Campaign.
Figured I would re-install.
First disk-fine.
Second disk fail. Kept trying to install to drive D:
Tried to put in what I thought was the correct pathway but still fail.
Can some one advise what the correct pathway is or tell me how I can force the install.
Many thanks.
Tony...

Re: Failed Path
Did you install the first disc on D:? It only knows what it writes in the registry.
All else fails, uninstall through the Control Panel, delete all Medieval II Total War folders, run a good free registry cleaner, disable the UAC, restart the computer, reinstall.
The only other thing real quick is less than 9gb of free space on C:.

Re: Failed Path
Thank you Irishron.
D: is actually my cd drive. Wants to install to itself?
Have 18 gigs open on C: where the first disk installed fine.
UAC is disabled.
Did all as you suggested except the registry leaner. They make me nervous.
Been playing this game for ears with no problems (sigh)

Curious. Run a deep antivirus scan. It may take a couple of hours but you may have unwanted company.
