Default Third Age Submods Crash on Startup

I have TATW 3.2 installed on my Windows 7 computer, it's all patched and everything's installed
I've been playing TATW for a very long time and haven't had the problem i'm going to describe
I have several versions TATW on my computer, and the sub-mods are what i'm having problems with

When i launch a submod (either directly through the .bat file in the submod folder or a shortcut i've created on my desktop), the initial loading screen comes up only for a second or two and then the application closes, without any error messages..
However, the vanilla TATW 3.2 launches fine still

The submods i have on my computer are the expanded map, and the unofficial 4.7 patch.
I've played the expanded map extensively, and also the 4.6 unofficial patch, but this problem started occurring once i installed the 4.7 unofficial patch, for reasons unknown to me
I've tried deleting the .bat files that were there and making new ones from the functional vanilla .bat file, but same problem still occurs, and also running the autodelete.bat file in the unofficial 4.7

Can anyone help me please? it would be much appreciated!
    Thanks!

P.s. posted this exact same thread in vanilla help section cause i'm an idiot, and can't delete that one now

This is a problem with Leo's mod, nothing to do with submods in general, so you should have posted it there in his thread for help.
