Is it possible to do so that the grand campaign beggins at 280 BC during the Pyrrhic war and make so that Epirus has Brundisium and is at war with Rome?

You would need to edt the startpos, I myself have no idea how that is done...
The amount of startpos editing required for DeI is daunting. We have toyed with the idea of doing this to make Rome's start more interesting. However, the amount of changes to the startpos is highly prohibitive of doing it again.
If you wanted to do it for yourself its possible. You could choose to have not have certain content (our custom mercenaries, starting garrisons/unit sizes correct, etc).
I'll try to make it alone, I've found tutorials and info for most of the changes I want to do but I couldn't find out how to change the starting date of the campaign.

this may help
I like this idea.. I started an Epirus campaign just last week for the first time. It's the hardest campaign yet. I managed to subdue the Athenians and the Spartans and the Antigonids are on the run.. And now, finally.. I've taken Brundissium and the Pyrrhic war will start once more!
Har!
