Are we going to have to download the Russian version first and then merge the English patch onto it? Or is it a separate download entirely?

English patch is already on ModDB, but don't authorised. I will upload it for now on Yandex Disk. Mega link will be ready tommorow. Or, you can wait then ModDB link will be authorized. And yes. it should be installed on russian version.

Here I got a problem, I have steam version of Medieval 2, I unpacked Mod in the correct directory but if I want mods to work I have to rename it with a name of existing campaign from kingdoms. I did it with teutonic, the mod didnt launch, I renamed with crusades the mod launched but I got error (the same with british-isles) FInally i renamed the mod with americas, and mod launched perfectly. Custom battles worked fine, but when I go on campaign and choose faction then hit play or whatever game reverts me back to the main menu. What should I do to solve it?

I can run custom battles, but the campaign appears to be broken (running English patch) and just returns me to the main screen.

Also, here's some replacement code for "The_Elder_Scrolls.bat" (modified from Europa Barbarorum II) in case you're having trouble launching the game/don't want to change Kingdoms folder names. This was tested and works on the Steam version of M2TW:

In custom battles, the menu has no text whatsoever, but that could be a result of the English patch.

That issue is related to the file map.rwm, use the resercher to find them(usually they are more than one) and delete them all before launching the game

Where'd you download it from? The yandex link download says it'll take 5-6 days. Is there another link?

So I manage to make the campaign working. i should tweak a bit the CS to make it better, but I've made a few change to descr_strats to make it work.

Firsts Impressions : units are beautifull
Campaign map is intersting in term of strategy, but it lacks of personnality (she is a bit too empty). Otherwhat a great futur mod. And that's a pity so few was translate into english, especially in the interface.

Btw here is my changed descr_strat.

I couldn't find any files named "map.rwm," but Arandir Tur-Anion's descr_strat fix solved the problem. English patch is now working with the campaign.
