Voted. Great job on the survey guys. Im glad the TW fan base cares enough about the game to do these kinds of things. I sincerely hope CA takes a look at it and tries to work the results into their strategies, it can only help them. I also didnt find the survey biased, nor the english bad at all (if people are still complaining about that). I also didnt think the length was to bad.

Survey complete.
Last night, the complaints of the fans kept me awake and I had a terrible vision. I saw, the end of our franchise, countless bugs and bad reviews! Total War, GONE. Why would CA release such an unfinished game? They put effort into their work. They have released successful Total War titles aplenty! Their products are shipped to all corners of the world...and yet now I fear, I cannot help it. Total War is the envy of lesser gamers but CA, tell terrible lies to their fanbase, Rome II was bugged and unfinished SO THEY LIE. But Sega, they are the masters of falsehood. DLC will come, I am sure of it, so I will buy no more Total War games, and I think the forums, will be empty tonight.
Done but I believe this is an uphill battle. CA is no longer the company able to make a good TW game. Mods make it bearable, but its flaws are too deep. And the next installment will be even worse. With huge amount of content I will never pay for (DLCs) and more arcade gameplay that wont keep me playing more than 2-30 turns before I am already clear the winner of the game with nothing that could happen that could challenge me. I loved Rome and Medieval 2, I accepted Shogun 2 (mainly do to the preserved difficulty and less deep design flaws) but that is all we will ever get from CA.
Done, quite enjoyed that tbh.
I do wonder if CA will take the slightest bit of notice though.
This is my original review for Rome II, posted in October 2013.
Rome II: Totally Casual.
Streamlined features, zero diplomacy, no family tree, lack of character progression, magical transports, complete lack of battle, siege and campaign AI, blob style fighting formations, 3minute battles, magical fire burning torches, zero seasons, 1 turn per year, awful performance on high end systems, monotonous and incredibly tedious campaign,
A year later, sadly, not much has changed.
yup.
Many of us are very upset with CA, and we have enough reasons. The inacceptable release state, their shameless DLC policy. But what angers me the most is their complete ignorance of their fans. Aside from their infamous tiny excuse (the well known "only 2% are reporting problems" message), they have completely ignored all their disappointed fans and critics. They only communicate if they have sth to sell. They act like the 3 monkeys. Everything is working as intended, nothing wrong with the game, no apology, no reaction to all the concerns from fans about the direction they've taken.

Well, to be fair, they did actually go some way to fixing the sieges. Although it did take a hue and cry on the forums and utube, plus a 10 month wait (unacceptable tardiness) before CA did anything and even there they still will not acknowledge anything wrong save the deed is better now. However, it seems they are getting right on track to blowing whatever goodwill they gained from patch 14.
uhh yeah they worked on sieges. Of course you can interpret t the patching as a way of admitting their shortcomings. But I want them to give an open and honest statement - yes an official apology for the whole matter. Not a bit of "yeah there are some problems", but honest communication about everything that troubles people. Not only about bugs, but about the streamlined gameplay, their questionable dlc policy etc. They just ignore people and continue with their routine as if nothing happened.
You know, before release Lusted was all over this place, defending game features left and right, addressing critics. He always lectured us on how this and that would improve gameplay, make the game more complex and strategic etc. And since then it's complete silence.
You feel like a naive girl being tricked into a one night stand and discover the next day that the number and address he gave you were wrong.

Survey taken.... Good job and time spent well, Cheers !
Survey done! Good initiative!
I actually just thought of something I think you should ask on the survey. You should ask during the multiplayer parts about what our internet connection is. That way you can kinda tell if people are having issues with lag because of their speed, and not because of the game.

I can't vote on that poll, but I took the survey, in tle link.
question: Have you ever finished a single player campaign in ANY TotalWar game yet?
I felt insulted...
Reg: They've taken everything we had and what have they ever given us in return!?
Xerxes: The aqueduct. Reg: Oh yeah, yeah they gave us that. Yeah that's true.
Activist 1: And the sanitation!
Stan: Oh yes...sanitation, Reg you remember what the city used to be like.
Reg: all right, that's two things that the Romans have done...
Matthias: And the roads...
Reg: Well yes obviously the roads goes without saying. But apart from...
Activist 2, 3, 4, 5: Irrigation...Medicine...Education...and the wine...
Francis: Yeah the wine. That's something we'd really miss if the Romans left.
I'm just wondering, has this survey been posted on the Official TW forums? I can't seem to find any reference to it there.
