I think more questions on modability would have been good. 10 years from now if CA doesn't make their games as modable as MTW II, then I will still be playing MTW II. (Barring anything unforeseen in the next ten years).

The participants are spread all over the globe. Users that used the link from TWC holding a 30% share on the whole.

So at minimum 300 reliable Spartans fought through the "thicket" of questions.

Do not forget to share this via social media and to your friends. We need all the TotalWar community involved, whether they play Rome 2 or not (those can even skip a lot of questions).

Furthermore thank you again to you SP4. Since the change you proposed the rate of people that quit the survey early rapidly decreased.

Only 15% (previous 31%) not taking the survey till the end (all votes given on the way are saved though, so no feedback is completely lost)
Only 22% still say it is too extentsive.

btw... unlike the first survey the many questions you answer give already very cool and insightful results. It is hard to hold examples back, but I do not want to bias future participants.

Yeah, I laugh at the idea that stuff like this will have an effect.

Your opinion makes a difference and nearly 5000 give their insight in the first survey. That's a record to beat and what you say could have a real impact on the Total War series.

Yeah, sure it will. I'm sure CA devoted half of its employees to reading surveys to learn what we don't like about its games so it can fix those things in future releases. It also increased the budget allocated to survey-reading by 40%. That's the highest ever.

Great work guys, I found it very interesting and I look forward to the results. I for one abandoned TWR2 for a year, even left the beta group in protest at the dismal state of the game but after the latest patch I have returned and playing on Legendary difficulty the game is at least playable do I dare say enjoyable!

The proof of the mess of this title is taking a glance at your steam friends, in the heady days of Shogun 2 it was pretty much common that I would have many, many hardcore TW playing friends who I had made from M2TW, ETW playing at the same time. This unfortunately has greatly decreased to no more than 1-3. I hope community driven projects can have a benefit to deliver a product on par with Shogun 2.

Just did this survey. I picked Late Roman Total War for the next game, but there was no "But only if they consult actual experts on the Late Roman Era" option. ***Cough Like Me Cough***
