    Done the survey.

I didn't give a score on certain questions, like for example if I'm happy about Twitch. Since I don't use it and have no plans to use it, I don't know if it's any good.
Also some questions are kinda hard to answer sometimes as they would depend on the situation. For example whether I would buy the next TW game depends on the setting. If the setting is interesting, I would most likely buy it, but probably after it's been released a while and the game's reception is positive.

Took it. Thanks for the effort guys. CA should be humbled and honored to have such a loyal fanbase. Hopefully they go the distance for Rome 2.

    Done the survey.

One little thing, consilium plebis secundus is not grammatically correct! Consilium is nominative singular neuter second declension so secundus must agree with that in number, case and gender, so it should be secundum, singular nominative neuter.

I am honestly sorry that I did not read your message carefully enough.
I was quite stressed because I read it during the maintenance and this was a very dangerous operation to take the survey down and edit the necessary proposal SP4 made. Now the survey will no longer bug fans of the campaign mode to answer mp battles related questions, which also should lead to a higher motivation to finish the survey. I noticed that this was exactly the point where many quit the survey, too. Therefore SP4 gave an very important hint and ensured the further success. Have a rep and included him in the credits.

    concilium plebis secundum

As you can see with my very little latin I wrote it correct in the scroll picture you'll see on the first page of the survey. Later it seems I gave the machinima team the misspelled one and myself rely on that for the OP.
I do not know if it is useful to edit the video, too. Do you think this is needed? It is quite much amount of work and we have render and re-up the video on youtube then so all links would get invalid.

Thanks for the advise again, I will edit the OP now.

I will note that down in the next survey - if this happens. For this time we had already soo many questions that people complaint about the lenght.

I'm ok with it, just a tip for future surveys. Still appreciate the effort.
Sorry that I missed to include that and yet no one of the beta participants reported this to me. It came into my mind too but too late to change it on Sunday when we already inofficially released to be test it live.
China has a very long history and tradition and there were many fights and wars within the countries, so a TotalWar about China is more than being worth.
If you still think that Medieval 2 is active I would be happy if anyone could change his/her signature link to make more people aware about it.

Anybody that has got a problem to take the survey with a message "You have taken the survey already" because he tried to take it during the 90 minutes long maintenance, please contact me via PM to receive help. Thanks.
It should not affect more than 15 people as I monitored the stats during the downtime but as the survey is completely anonymous I can't tell who was affected of course.

Warhammer TW has been confirmed. Games Workshop is a public company. Making a Warhammer TW game is a no brainer really. Its a perfect fit. You have the map, nations and armies already there. Tons of cool deamons, war machines and magic to add spice. The whole warhammer game is a tabletop miniature battle. Perfect for CA's battle engine.

Sega also owns the Warhammer40k license through Relic. If they were going to do a RTS type of game, they would let Relic do it, not CA.

The Call of Warhammer mod for Medieval II shows the power. Its also going to be a DLC fest. They will probably launch with 4-6 armies available and add more through DLC content. One thing for sure, they will have to work for their DLC, because the Warhammer factions are far from copy paste. Each one has a completely unique roster, style and lore. Games Workshop is always very strict on how its license is going to be used, so CA can't cut corners there.

Hi sorry for not posting in the previous reply. But I think this one is important to seperate from your precious user feedback on the survey.

I have read on totalwar.com where this has been posted too, that some complaint about the worse english in the survey.
    citations from forums.totalwar.com
The surgery is way too long, and the poor English makes it confusing to understand how to rate certain things... Please, Ffs... Fix it.
Please keep in mind we had over 30 beta testers, some of them worked as editors and are native speakers , yet so far I have not heard a lot of those complaints from their side. Still they helped a lot to iron out many things like spellings or grammar in the beta phase.

Also people complaint about the survey being biased. What is your feedback in these regards, please?

    citations from forums.totalwar.com
I can tell this survey was written by someone with an axe to grind (not surprising given the rage in the TWC forums). Pity it isn't more neutral. Oh well.
Yep,also pretty laborious and confusing to go through.Waste of time really.
Based upon my academic training in sociology and polling I cannot recommend anybody take this poll. There are issues in this poll that need to be ironed out.
As for the bias, please also be sure that you have read the TLDR on the first page. It was said that some questions included in the survey were taken from the December's survey to have comparison.

Taking this into consideration do you still find that the survey, except those specific ones are also biased. All questions from the December have disclaimer like

"the question was also asked in the December survey... we need the results for comparisons"

Currently the survey on .com is closed and the survey OP removed for moderation discussion, whatever that means. PLEASE do not discuss / speculate about this here. They have reasons and unless we do not know and understand those we should not beat anyone.

Please try to give me a honest feedback upon the 2 questions above. Many thanks.

I am happy that the overall feedback is very very positive either here on TWC, Steam, Reddit or elsewhere, except of course the fact that the survey appears to be too long (25% voted that). The short attention span and/or the willing to complete the survey is considerably low. 31% percent of all users did not proceed the whole survey). This is quite more than expected.

We still have to improve the coverage on Youtube about this my friends. I have email all recognized TW channels but did not get ANY reply. Please check your (google)mail guys. Also I would like to ask Darren to talk with the guys from TWN. As they have reported a lot of "famous" joins in their ranks this should be very helpful. I know that you are quite busy with your SilverShield tournament Darren.

Just completed the survey. Some of the questions are a bit strangely worded, but thanks for making it. I hope it will change things for the better, but I doubt it and voted that I would not buy more TW games.
The game development business is one of bottomless greed, pitiless cruelty, venal treachery, rampant competition, low politics and boundless personal ambition. New game series are rising, and others are starting their long slide into obscurity and defeat.

The survey is OPEN again. I carried out a maintenance to change the issue SP4 reported. Thanks again. Mentioned you in the credits. Have fun, and please more feedback on the 2 questions above please. It is highly appreciated.

I've completed the survey too. It was kinda long, but I managed.

In "next TW-game" I put down MTW3 and "other". I would prefer something new like "asia TW" or maybe something totally different. I really hope and expect, that there will be a dlc for Rome II with the late empire like Rome I.

The thread on the official forum is closed (and they deleted the link to the survey to be sure nobody can see it )... waiting for a moderation decision (why ? who cares ....)
    http://forums.totalwar.com/showthrea...ans-and-games?

the next time a community manager will create a topic about a dlc on TWC, the moderation here should do the same : to close the thread , to edit the post to delete all the info/link, waiting for a "moderation decision" ... it will be funny
but of course, CA and community managers will say that moderators are not employee blablablablabla ....
but hey ! if will/craig and other come here, you have to be very happy and respectfull ok ? but TWC, don't go on the official forum, you are not welcome .

Uhm.. when I clicked on the link before an hour or so ago it says under maintenence or something. I just now tried to click on the link to see if I could take the survey but it says I already took it....
“The hardest thing in the world is to assume the mood of a warrior. It is of no use to be sad and complain and feel justified in doing so, believing that someone is always doing something to us. Nobody is doing anything to anybody, much less to a warrior.” ― Don Juan
"It is the soldier, not the reporter, who has given us freedom of the press. It is the soldier, not the poet, who has given us freedom of speech. It is the soldier, not the campus organizer, who has given us the freedom to demonstrate. It is the soldier, who salutes the flag, who serves beneath the flag, and whose coffin is draped by the flag, who allows the protester to burn the flag." -- Father Dennis Edward O'Brien, USMC

I contact Joey to reopen the thread on the official forum. The moderation on the official forum is silly ...
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
The TWC have created a survey about rome 2
    http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showt...-Totalwar-fans
it is a official survey by TWC, you can find the link on the main page of TWC
    http://www.twcenter.net/

someone had created a thread on the official forum to announce this survey, but the moderation of the official forum had closed the thread, delete the OP to hide the link to the survey to be sure nobody can see it

it is a shame. CA staff can create any topic he wants on TWC but TWC can not create a simple thread about a survey on the official forum ?

could you please contact the moderators of the official forum ? as a community manager, I think it is important for you to do it.
    thank you very much.
can not wait for the next rally point ^^

Good idea baptistus, I hope CA can see the value of such a survey?

Thanks to all who put effort into the survey. I hope CA take note of its results.
