what kind of tournament exactly?
mp battles?
im only available till end of november then going overseas for 2 months.

I think we are enough to start a tournament so that it ends quicker.
We must discuss the rules.

does it matter that i edited some stuff to for example give academies law bonus? i have no touched the unit stats and stuff. it should b alright, right?

Nope that does not matter all MP is is custom battles againist another person. You don't need to register either just use the CD key on the back of your game's manual and then chose a name then sign in.

I'm not against elephants if the army fighting them has peltats (don't fight Seleudcid against Parthia or Brits for exemple).

These are my suggested rules:

-20000 Denarii to allow free pick of balance army (small elite army or large cheap army)
-Win conditions of most killings or complete rout (and not last man standing)
-time of 20 minutes
-2 x games per vs different player (1 attack and 1 defend with the same armies used)
-Only 1 map to be used (the flattest and most fair for both armies to be advised)
-Only 1 elephant unit allowed
-Only 2 siege units allowed
-Only 4 units of the same type allowed
-Fixtures to be free but will be noted here so not to be played again. The score will update accordingly
-The Tournament will end when all players have played with each other as advised above. The winner will be decided then between the 4 best players with a mini 4 men tournament clone. The 2 first will play one Final with rules to have identical army.

Good rules but 20 mins are not very long so i still stay with the idea of no time limit and 2 points if you win. Who is going to host this? I could set up a forum for it?

@Aleric:Time limit is important bcs speaking at least for myself, it is very annoying to a deal with a MP human opponent who simply stays idle and waits.
Time presses for aggresive maneuvers both. Why should 1 be the aggresive and the other the sitting duck?Let it be 25 minutes.30 max
There is no need for hosting. I will close this thread and issue a new one containing all the information of players-fixtures for those who participate.
Appointments will be managed here in my forum-special thread for MP.

We just need verification of the people who will surely participate and can begin.

Also if you want we can play a separate BI_DarthMod tournament.

Ah good question. I propose to have a sticky hall of fame in DarthMod. (A kill sheet like in World War I dogfights).
The chart will distinquish the best player among players.
Also...you will handle to me certain statistics of battles and I will handle the ratios of the statistics in the Charts.

For example men owned / men killed
Cavalry-infantry proportion preferation will give certain characterization for example ..Darth Vader the cavalry master, infantry master,etc....

why not..it would be good.
