MAARC LI!
Congratulations to the winners!
A lot of fresh faces popped up as the fifty first MAARC rolled around. However, it was one of our closest competitions yet! Hopefully this will set a new precedent! Congratulations and our thanks to everyone involved.
Our FIRST PLACE prize was secured by returning author esaciar and his Shogun 2 AAR Arasoi. Via an exquisite diary format, this AAR follows one of the more uncommon clans: the Mori. A strong start for a new story; let's hope it continues to go from strength to strength!
Losing out in our tense tie-break vote, m_1512's Chronicles of a Norman Game won SECOND PLACE. Proving that senior staff can write as well (who would have thought it?), this AAR takes us back to medieval England with a hefty side helping of political intrigue.
THIRD PLACE this time around was Scottish King and his AAR The White Horse.Testament to the head honcho's skill, as well as the often overlooked strength of Empire: Total War, this story earns a coveted place on the podium this month.
Keep 'em coming folks! Don't let those pesky Content Directors win all the points again next time around!
