failed to logon, multiplayer

hi guys, im buy vanilla medieval2 in humble store. so its direct load in steam. i didnt see cd key. so when i start game and try multiplayer online battle " Failed to logon" error. any help ? thanks

Yes! Thank God I'm not the only one! I bought this game two weeks ago and multiplayer has worked flawlessly for a week, until I tried it last night and it was down with the "Failed to Logon" error. I suspect that either the servers for this game are down or something. I seriously hope that is all that it is.

If ANYONE has any more information, please tell me! I was planning on playing a friend later tonight but at this rate it doesn't look like it will happen.
