    Reach Arguin with any ship
I noticed that only the ships that can travel in the ocean can reach Arguin.I repainted some pixels in the map_ground_types.tga file, and now all ships can reach Arguin.

How to install:Extract the map_ground_types.zip file in C:/Program Files(x86)/SEGA/Medieval II Total War/data/world/maps/base and accept to replace the file.

Important! Delete the map.rwm, and start a new campaign,if you already play one.

    Canoes for native American factions
In Americas Campaign, only the European factions can have ships. It means that the natives cannot reach Cuba or Cochimi Camp(that region in the western part of the map that can't be reached by land).Furthermore, the natives will have to travel for many turns in order to reach the northern regions of the map to attack the Apaches,of just make negotiations with the French or the Apaches.
This minimod will solve these problems, and provides the natives with vessels.

Before you install:Go in Medieval II Total War/tools/unpacker and run unpack_americas.bat.Wait until the unpacker finisher its job.The unpacker was provided with the 1.2 patch, and the unpackers for the campaigns were provided with Kingdoms,so the unpacker for the Americas will be there. If you have unpacked the campaign before, ignore this note.

How to install:Extract the Canoes for native American factions.zip and drag the data folder in Medieval II Total War/mods/americas.Accept to merge and replace.Make sure to backup the files that get replaced in case something goes wrong.

    Notes:
The admiral characters for the natives are mute.
→The mesoamerican factions have all new building cards for the port, and all new unit cards for the canoes.
→The canoes look like canoes in the campaign map,and have a "wooden" colour(thanks to Creative Assembly, for leaving models and textures of Rome TW's ships in Medieval 2's files)

Playable Norway & Mongols for Teutonic Campaign
This minimod enables Norway and Mongols as playable factions. In Teutonic, they exist along with the other factions, but they are unplayable. This minimod makes them fully playable, and adds a couple of additional features which improve the playing experience.
    Features:
-Mongols and Norway are fully playable.
-Norway has all of its units fully recruitable from the appropriate buildings.
-Mongols are now known as "The Golden Horde".
-Descriptions for Mongols and Norway and unit pictures in the faction selection screen are included.
-The royal title for the Mongols is now after the character's name. Now,the Mongolian Faction Leader in turn 1 is now known as "Khodhun Khan" instead of "Khan Khodhun".Same goes for the faction heir.
-Victory conditions for both Mongols and Norway are included.
-Admiralty building tree is enabled for Norway.
-Added some missing unit info cards for Norway.
-Mongolian generals are given some traits.

    Addintonal Features:
-Changed Mongols' religion to pagan. They're also given priests and religious buildings.Mongols begin with a priest and religious buildings in some of the cities.High Priests for Mongols are also included.
-Changed the adjective "Imperial" for the Holy Roman Empire to "German".The term "imperial" is more generic and can refer to any empire, whereas the term "German" is more specific, when talking about the Germans of HRE.
-An inaccesible timber trade resource near Akershus is now accesible.

    Before you install:
Go in Medieval II Total War/tools/unpacker and run unpack_teutonic.bat.Wait until the unpacker finisher its job.The unpacker was provided with the 1.2 patch, and the unpackers for the campaigns were provided with Kingdoms,so the unpacker for Teutonic will be there. If you have unpacked the campaign before, ignore this note.

    How to install:
Extract the Playable Norway & Mongols.zip and drag the data folder in Medieval II Total War/mods/teutonic.Accept to merge and replace.Make sure to backup the files that get replaced in case something goes wrong.

    Important!
Before you install any of these mods,do this:

    ...\Medieval II Total War\medieval2.preference.cfg
Now open this file with notepad and add the following section into the medieval2.preference.cfg file...

    Code:
    [io]
    file_first = true
Now save it with this new parameter (note 1: make sure the file hasn't the "read-only" attribute when you save it)!
(note 2: in some cases this cfg-file will be overwritten from the game after every gamestart, this can be fixed by opening properties and re-set the file as read-only after the modification)!!
