Some of the infantry units can form wedge. (don't know if any could before.) and a gorgeous leather texture on some of the Suebi armour.

Even if I didn't love this DLC, which I do, it would have been worth it if for nothing else than to just see the rage it has caused all the people that think CA should make the game to their own personal standards, and tastes.

I like the dlc, but women generals are needed as well as removing unit caps.

I remember thinking before Rome 2 came out: "I'll buy all the DLC they put out!" Well, haven't bought a single one. A lack luster game plus boring and ridiculous DLC - CA, I was ready and willing to throw my money at you!

CA could you make it possible to disable Fantasy Unit packs when launching the game, similar to how it is possible to disable Sunset Invasion in Crusader Kings 2 launcher.

You can do that via Steam. Just disabled any DLC that you don't want.

They haven't bothered for months now. This farce shouldn't really come as a surprise for any. But as one said I hope CA runs this franchise into the ground and sells it (cheaply) to someone with actual passion for strategy games and ambitions for TW.

My god... they come out with one piece of DLC and its the end of the bloody world. First of all, this probably took them about twenty five minutes to put together, this was not some massive time sink for their development team, so other, more important changes are probably still being worked on as we speak. Secondly, if you don't want it, don't bloody buy it?!? They're not running the franchise into the ground by coming up with a few fantasy units, I guarantee within a few days there will be plenty of mods to remove them from your game if you so desire, but you all act like this is some sacrilegious blasphemy that they have heaped upon you. This game was not meant to be 100% accurate, just like Rome 1 wasn't... can we all remember head hurlers and Arcanii? I don't think I've ever seen a more knee-jerk community in all my time playing video games.

This is bloody hilarious! The have barely fixed the game (after 14+patches) and THIS is what they give us? From all the DLC that they could make (even though they should fix the game FIRST) and would actually be worth getting, they chose to make professional female units...in antiquity.

Hi glad to see this thread reopened again. I already PM Joey directly during the time it was closed.
I appreciate the new FLC units very much, but then I would like to know what you think about the diversity of the faces and the unit clothes? For me they are very monotone. Sure there will be mods for this sooner or later but I don't want to install a mod for quite every aspect of the game. Approximately I can see 2 different unit models (one with freckles and one without) and then their clothing appears very recurring, too. Looks like a clone army to me. Also the I don't like their grumpy face expressions, which all have no variety at all.

And that unit, has 3 different caps, 6 different faces, with 3 different hands, 5 different armor, 2 different pants and 5 different daggers.
But Again it a whole new body type so we can't expect much, but I have tried to give them a bit of new armor on, some of it clips like there are no tomorrow, and some piece needs some of the bodytypes to be deleted.

No they are just suppose to show, and I can use the asset myself, I think they made a mistake by giving them all a hat on, and not let the hair flow.
But I have to point out that the steppes factions do really have a limited look, until you give them some armor.
