Faction emblems

First off, a massive congrats and thankyou to the DeI team for putting so much of their time and effort into making such a detailed and immersive mod

After so very many campaign turns, I was beginning to find the vanilla faction emblems a little stale - I was looking at NOIF's Faction Emblems mod, which adds a great variety of revamped emblems to choose from -

Is anyone using this with DeI? If so, is it all compatible? (I can't check for a few days whilst I'm away)

To anyone on the DeI team: are you planning to refresh faction emblems at any point in the future?

Dont believe that faction emblems is compatible with DeI since they alter some tables in DeI that is linked to unit recruitment and reforms for the given faction.

I use a few without any issues at all, so i think they are compatible

Faction emblems are also in my list and I have extracted the files for this. But there is so much workload for me currently, but I can try and keep working on them.

It is possible. Some of Noif's faction emblems use new faction colours. But the ones that use the same faction colour should be compatible. Open up the faction emblem.pack and see if there is a "faction_tables" reference. If there is, copy the new faction colours into the DEI faction_tables and remove the faction_tables reference in the emblems.pack

It has to do with the military groups I believe. DEI made greek factions unique.

But like I said.. take a peek inside the .pack file of your faction emblem.. If it has no faction_tables, you're good.

I'm using right now Noif's Faction Emblems with latest version of DeI and no problem was found. I'm using TWC Mod Manager. Enjoy emblems : D
