CTD on rebel prophet's turn.
Hes south of nuremburg going by the name of Anselmo Of Denmark. I cant get any units over there in that short a time and the character reset is almost impossible to do i cant seem to enter the characters correctly. Say the faction leader Basileus Alexios - No combinations of his name ever work. Cant restart again twice in 3 days now.

So restarted campaign...happened again after 41 turns. Shame game is excellent otherwise but it really is breaking any immersion that builds up. Do any of the mods in the installer keep causing these crashes?

CTDs in turn 41 are an issue from 6.3 without fixes IIRC
probably is a bad installation due to UAC messing with your files
If you have win8 just install medieval2 and the mods outside from "Program Files" folder (if you have the steam version, steam is able to do that as well)
If win7 you can disable the UAC and thing will work, but the same solution above applies and is better IMO
If you don't know what UAC is search in the forum and google windows user account control and how disable it.
Alas, I also recommend you to get the 6.4 bugfix compilation in my signature bellow
Oh and don't forget to set SS_launcher.exe and SS_setup.exe to run as admin.
