I've looked all over and can't find out when or what the hell triggers these Roman military reform level things. Could someone kindly provide this basic information the mod creator apparently didn't bother to provide in its million Faq pages?

August Strindberg: "There's a view, current at the moment even among quite sensible people, that women, that secondary form of humanity (second to men, the lords and shapers of human civilisation) should in some way become equal with men, or could so be; this is leading to a struggle which is both bizarre and doomed. It's bizarre because a secondary form, by the laws of science, is always going to be a secondary form. Imagine two people, A (a man) and B (a woman). They start to run a race from the same point, C. A (the man) has a speed of, let's say, 100; B (the woman) has a speed of 60. Now, the question is 'Can B ever overtake A?" and the answer is 'Never!'. Whatever training, encouragement or self-denial is applied, the proposition is as impossible as that two parallel lines should ever meet."
Never saw anything about a Scriptorium, it wasn't even anywhere on the Roman page. Anyways, thanks.![]()
How dare they not! Whats wrong with these people anyways!
They have enough class not to lash out on your remark, but show some respect for people who dedicate their free time. And its easy enough to find if you just did some reading.

How can I edit the thresholds for the reforms? I like to play reeaaaaly slowly.
Open up the pack and find the lua_scripts section. Find reforms.lua.
Scroll down until you see the Players Paramaters section. Find this part:
-- MAIN ROME CAMPAIGN
_lib.requirements.main_rome.player = {
roman = {3, 40, 5, 100, 7, 210},
carthaginian = {5, 80},
greek = {3, 50, 5, 120},
celtic = {5, 90},
iberian = {5, 90},
german = {5, 90}
The first number is the Imperium level, the second is the turn number. If you want to change the global reforms, they are above the player reforms. I think I will add this guide to our Reforms guide.
Thank you V much.
I meant the reform levels are mentioned nowhere on the Roman page, which is pretty damn important to know. It wasn't mentioned on any page obviously relevant to Faqs or Information I came across either and there's nothing less attractive than a "Manual" after already going through a few pages of information.
When the only thing we can complain about is lack of guides, it means that DeI has done its job with Rome 2![]()
Well I came across this site in the forum somewhere and assume its official. Knowing when tech leaps are coming through the door's pretty important to at least have it mentioned there.
P.S. I've quite well enjoyed a few of your mods over the history of Rome 2, keep up the good work.![]()
Also that site is done by honga in his own free time (and he is not part of the DEI team even, he does this site for Rome 2, and other mods too) So it obviously takes a while to update everything seeing as this mod and others are constantly changing over time. It is a great resource, but will not be fully up to date until this mod is fully finished.
ATM official guides are the ones here in the forums.
