help can't play a single faction

i can,t play a single faction because when i click start it is going back to the main menu

i don't know why it is so i hope somebody can help me

I have always had this when i installed a mod incorrectly. You need to make sure to install into the mods folder, and any patches into the correct mod folder. Are you playing on kingdoms that is patched to 1.05? If any of this doesn't work, try running the SS install as admin and play from there or disable UAC and install the main game on the desktop.

i have uninstalled ss and installed ss again first ss 6.3 next the 6.3 patcher and next ss 6.4 now it is working again thank you for this only i have a other problem in ss 6.4 i can't change from era's now when i do it says error while trying to create a temporary file operation aborted how can i fix this

Locate SS Set Up in MTW2/MODS/SS6.3, Select and Right Click and Run as Admin
