    First off thanks for mod. I really like the reduced movement it feels so much better then vanilla. Unfortunately I am still experiencing almost no movement during winter seasons. I like idea of reduced movement in winter but this might be a bit extreme. DEI must change movement rates under a different directory for seasons but I can't seem to find it.

    Im using this mod together with Dresden's 12TPY. Its pretty fun. I only got 1 problem with it. You cant really move in winter season. (but who fights a war in winter ) Is it possible to get bonus movementpoints in own territory when winter kicks in ?

    And I've noticed ( perhaps I'm wrong) that movement is related to regions in winter.
    Norii declared war on me. Their army was the same distance from Venetii North border as was my best Legion in Magna C.
    I reached the border 2 turns before them..., well they crawled through snow while in south Italy was Sunny

    I guess it depends on the regions winter effect.
    I couldnt move a single step once i had harsh winter in Cisalpine, on the same turn i was able to move my garrisoned legion from pella half way to the border of navissos(triballi capital) in a normal winter.

    Update:
    Uploaded a version with reenabled >double time< to help transport ship ranges

    To movement in winter:
    In some regions you get stuck with your armies
    In warm regions you could move normal

    So does this new "double time" upload just effect transports? Because I already loved the way land units moved.

    Only naval units (ships + transports)

    I am sick with the flu so forgive my foggy brain, lol, but do I need to install both of the mods or will just the "Double Time" one, will do both land units and transports right???

    Is there any way to get this for Steam? I could not find a guide how to install or where to unzip .pak´s in the Steam directory.

    This mod sounds great and is just the change I wish for RtW2!

    download this mod from 1st page
    unzip it to your desktop
    open
    C:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\common\Total War Rome II\data
    copy/paste _movementrange.pack
    into "data"

    start rome
    in "your mods" enable "out of date mods"
    check there
    _movementrange.pack

    start Rome
    you are set

    I really like the new feature that allows the double time for transports.

    I have been having a weird glitch in my last campaign I started. Every winter in the provience of Italy I can't move any of my armies at all. it doesn't matter if it just the general or a full stack they have zero movement points but down in manga gracia movement is fine even right bellow the provience boarder. At first I thought It was due to a severe winter but 3 more winters have passed and still every winter zero movement.

    Update:
    -lowered the season effects in winter. Much better movement in winter now
