Accuracy question
Hi all.
I'm playing around with slowing down the combat in Rome 2. I've found editing the melee_hit_chance values in the kv_rules table to be particularly elegant and effective way to slow down the melee kill rate. I prefer to keep the modifications to a minimum, and would rather not make a bunch of adjustments to unit hp, melee defense, etc.
I would like to make an analogous change to the effectiveness of ranged weapons. Changing the unit accuracy values in the land_unit_tables seems to be the way to go. However, when I change the values for a particular unit, it doesn't seem to make much of a difference. Perhaps I've just been unlucky with my testing. Anyone have success making changes to unit accuracy?
