Love it and good luck.
Looks awesome! Could use another light spear unit and possibly a melee cav unit, but besides that it looks epic!
So hyped!
ANOTHER ONE SHIELD
This is amazing !!
Im actually thinking of learning how to use 3D modelling software , i dont know a thing about modding but if i do make anything good ill send it to you for your perusal and then you can include it or discard it if you want
If you work to earn a living, why then do you work yourself to death?
Good point!
Looking forward for your hopefully upcoming stuff.
The WIP's look nice. I like the models from TA:TW mod, and let me tell you these already look great. I can't wait to have armies of golden soldiers...!
SS 6.4, Eras 2.3, DotS ProjectThe first computer you had always was the best.R.I.P. 2001-2011
I would love to fight with them, too...
I can tell some of you are just as excited as I am to see this faction and I can tell you that the development of these units is well under way and hopefully we can bring you an update soon of a full model!
Easily my favourite faction so best of luck with their recreation in Attila!
Martin (Dantaeuk) did great job with them don't be afraid
Can say so far Easterlings will be much differ than they were in TATW.
Looks good, keep up the great work guys
Don't be afraid
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
My favourite faction! Cant wait to see it happen =D
It's all just a game!
I wanted to point out that the work on the Easterling helm looks great, but I strongly caution you to avoid the temptation of making the unit's armor appear 'Gold'. For one, this rarely translates well into TW - it usually just looks yellow. But besides, as we can see from the OP's avatar the Easterling armor is in fact grey, or off-white, and very much appears to be steel. Dusty, battle-tested, while still being ornate. One of my big complaints from the TA:TW mod for Medieval 2 was that the Easterling armor was far too 'yellow' and I hope you guys avoid this pitfall.
Although, the shield that Mr.J posted looks -superb- and I could very much get on board with a burnished brown coloring as well.
Don't worry about colors. Current colors already almost perfect. Let's see how good LL will handle this
So there was no much previews on this factions for a long time due to the dantaeuk's travel for a long time.
That's why I show this WIP easterling(balchoth) unit:
It was early to show him 'coz unit doesn't have textures, not implemented in game and have some bugs as may be seen so far. But there you go
Damn that looks good cant wait for the polished version
