Unit Options Go Grey In The Middle of Battle For A Short Time, Can't Control My Unit, Happens Often

This keeps happening when my units are engaging the enemy, the options go grey for 5-10 seconds, then come back, then it does it again eventually. This is from the THERA mod but I don't know, maybe this problem is also in the regular Med2 game?

Here is a screenshot, as you can see my unit options are grey and it won't let me press anything.

Is there any way to fix or disable this?

Try lowering your graphics settings like shadows, grass, glints?

Why would lowering graphics settings help? It never did this on my other campaign and it is on max settings. I can't find any information anywhere on a problem like this.

My thinking is, if the problem goes in and out, it's graphics related, not game related. The game is too old for it to be in the code and a modder can't make it happen.

I don't think so, since it doesn't do this at all on my other save, it must be some type of bug and I can't fix it. This is VERY annoying, now I have to restart another campaign. I tried what you said and it didn't work.

does that mod has the germanicus realy bad ai in it ,becausce it sounds like a future of it,i like it some maybe not,you can give your troops only 1 command at the time and then their command buttons will stay grey for a couple of seconds,our 1 2 minutes,the same for your general,makes it a little more realistic,but you gotta think now good for every step you take....
