Help with specs please!!!
Hey ppl, wondering if you could help.
Though i know a bit about computers im was wondering what people thought of my specs and how it will cope with MTW2. Im sure it will be able to run it but having a few problems with the demo:
Specs:
Pentium D 2.80ghz
2GB ram
Radeon X600 256mb hyper memory
(Radeon X600 256mb hyper memory secondary [whatever that is])
Creative SB X-FI
Am i gonna need to update or anything like that? Or is it a pretty decent system? :hmmm:

Not sure about that Pentium D's gaming performance, but that graphics card isn't the best one. Have you tried the new demo? Should work well on medium settings, disabling shadows and such.. Just a quess. What settings did you use in demo? Some settings really destroy the performace badly..

Iv had a play around again with the settings and taking the shadows down a notch has helped it a bit. Just strange because i play RTW with everything on high at least and have no real problems. i didnt expect to have a lower fps rate. Hopefullyit will be better with the final released version.

Well, that first demo is simply outdated and the full version will work better. But set your shadows to "none", even low shadows seems to have problem with my system. And vegetation and unit quality to medium, if they aren't already.
