Campaign crashing after loading

I reinstalled TATW 3.2 and MOS 1.6.2 correctly following the guide on the website.

I have experienced absolutely no crashes with the game until I reinstalled today.

When I start up on a campaign it will do the video and when it is fully loaded it crashes to the desktop without an error message.

I have windows 7 STEAM version of the game.

It shouldn't be hardware as everything is new I do however have a new AMD processor 6 core 3.5ghz.

Vanilla works fine

I have disabled the daylight time and have deleted one of two descr files in other threads I have read (I believe there was only one of the two because I could not start a campaign so that file was not created)

No other thread I have viewed has given me a solution to the problem.
