Cannot Download With Windows 8

So i know that there have been a lot of people that have had issues with downloading this mod, but their problems seem to be after they get part one installed. i can not seem to get that far. when i download from moddb, it all looks good from the site but when i try to run the .exe, it says "This file contains invalid data". I thought that it was a bad download, but i have tried to download it from couple different sites and almost a dozen times. same result. I am assuming that it is something on my end with my PC, but i can not think what it is. i turned the UAC off

I have a Dell Desktop with Windows 8

Any help to get me to play this mind blowing mod would be very much appreciated

This means you got a bad/corrupt download.. Re download the .exe file which gives you the error.

During downloading do not use your Internet for anything else, just leave it be. Also, do not do some multitasking on your PC while it is downloading.

You do not need TATW 3.1 Patch if you want to install TATW 3.2, you only need TATW 3.0 both parts and 3.2 Patch. Also, do not use Internet Explorer for downloading the files, either Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome. IE ****s up the downloaded files.

Ok i will try again and see if not touching anything will help. It seems that the download goes like super fast, like less than 10 sec my computer tells me its availible

Thank you very much for trying to help me. It turns out it was something with my computer, it was not downloading correct.
I just used another computer and ported the files over with a jump drive. Again, thanks for your help
