Rebels in Custom Battles

Hi there, I'm wondering how you make the rebels playable in custom battles in Medieval Total War?

Hi Baga... The short (and correct) answer is that you can't... That regardless of version...

You could however fake it, using the Gold/VI/v.2.01-version of MTW but it will take some various work before any of that happens. It is not overly easy to do as you will have to effectively create an extra faction (with all that comes with it) which you then call "rebels" (using the "FN_Rebel" will however probably not work as intended) and it would then look like/appear as you made the rebels playable in such custom battles. So, the illusion of that is possible - but making the actual rebels of MTW playable in custom battles is not (as I understand it)...
