    Default Hoplite Graphical Overhaul Request

Historically the hoplite spear averaged 2.7 meters with a reach of about 1.5 to 2.0 meters. In the game however, as shown in the image below, you can see that the reach of the hoplite spear extending beyond his hoplon is no more that 0.5 meters. This is because the game considers the fulcrum of the spear to be in the middle when actually the center of gravity of the spear was shifted towards the rear end of the shaft due to the heavy iron spike located at the rear tip of the spear known as the sauroter. It would be aesthetically pleasing to see a spear appear as a spear and not as a sword or dagger length with a majority of the reach and length of the spear sticking out from the back of the hoplite's incorrect grip.

This is not a problem with the DeI animation but rather the vanilla animations, which hopefully the DeI team can edit.

Thanks for bringing up the point. But any graphic overhauls might need to wait after 1.0, as the main focus is to polish and balance all existing stuff.
