Divide et Imerpa crashing during loading. Any help?

As I said it crashed during loading campaign or any battles. I can run multiple other mods at the same time but when I try to play this alone it crashes before its finished loading. What can I do to fix it?

What version are you using? Are using the forum standalone version or the steam version? If steam=> all 7 parts are in?

Try to start rome2 with all mods off, maybe one of your mods lynched one file and the game isnt starting anymore without the mod.

Verify game cache of rome 2.

Check tech/Bug report and make sure to use the latest DeI update. There is a new version online.

I got the same thing, already verified the game's cache multiple times. I have got version 0.95f running, now installing the new version. The only other mod I have is the Rome 1 music mod. When there is a crash the loading screens "jam up", and with it the music, which means a total re-start of my computer is neccesary to be able to do anything again. I will try to load without the music mod!

Yes i tried restarted rome 2 along with steam and then my computer but nothing works, I downloaded all off of steam and I have a friend, downloaded and works perfectly fine for him, who ive tried to play multiplayer campaign with and his works just fine but mine crashes, during single player or multiplayer so either way I dont know what to do.

He downloaded from the same workshop off of steam and Ive downloaded/subscribe, unsubscribed and reinstalled DEI mods but it isnt working. I really dont think my computer cant handle it since only my ram isnt slightly under the average, 3.6 GB, but Im able to play large battles with any other number of mods with players, multiplayer or campaign, single or multi, but just this mod alone crashes and is not working.

Since my friend downloaded off the exact same steam workshop and his runs perfectly what am I missing? I highly doubt its my computer cant handle it but what else can be the problem.

it would be good when the devs add more music so we dont need a music mod of rome 1

Sometimes its an old mod that isn't even activated that is in your data folder. I would check the folder for any old .pack files that look like mods. Even if you delete the wrong file, verifying the game will fix it.

Yes, apparently it is something buggy in the game, the new patch kind of screwed up my loading files at random. I think I might have to uncheck mods, and then verify the cache time and time again to get it to run properly. As for now, this solution will have to do..

It's a bit extreme, but since Patch 14 seems to have changed stuff that interferes with DeI, try doing a full uninstall and re-install of the game (after backing up your saves and non-Steam mods, of course). Whatever major parts of the game were overhauled to improve the AI are worth it, but they haven't communicated those changes to modders who are being affected by it.

If you getting crashes during campaign or battle loading times make sure to uncheck windowed mode in your Rome II graphics settings.
