Thank you for this mod! All DeI needs to absorb now is Roman Families 2 and it will be my idea of a PERFECT experience of a sorely disappointing revival of my favorite Total War game.
I'll shortly list what I did to install this mod in case anyone has issues getting it to work.
I currently have these mods installed and active in this order through Steam:
DeI .96 1-4
Agent Cards Redone (out of date but enabled through out of date mods option)
Minor Faction
Epic_Armies_Banner.Pack (this is where it automatically put the mod after I installed it)
KLA's new Roman Generals for campaign
After running the .exe and installing the mod in the /Rome2/save_games a new icon appeared for the mod in the Steam Mod Manger in the order listed above.
The icon for the mod was a yellow exclamation point.
I had the option to Delete or Upload the mod.
When clicking Upload, an error message popped up that said I need a file in my Total War Rome 2/data folder named epic_armies_banner.png
I randomly copied an existing .png file (_devite_et_impera_release_part2) to my desktop, renamed it epic_armies_banner (minus.png), and pasted it back into my Total War Rome 2/data folder.
The yellow exclamation point icon turned to the Devide et Impera Part 2 icon (I wonder why) and read Epic_Armies_Banner.pack but said it was out of date.
I checked Enable Out of Date Mods and unchecked it and the Out of Date Mod warning on Epic_Armies_Banner.pack disappeared.
Launched the game, Loaded campaign Romani Julia, and the starting units for Rome were Starting Number/30 not out of vanilla /20.
Don't mean to waste anyone's time with the lengthy description but, I've had problems with mods that I would have loved something like this.
Epic28, when my people take over, you will be spared!
