I have this loaded before the SBE mod. I use the 'unofficial' mod manager, maybe that makes a difference?

But seriously, is it possible to make both options available to everyone?

Or even better, Satrapies are created by invasion whereas Vassals created via diplomacy. Seems like the most logical sense.

But my main question is, is it possible to have the option to create both in game?

Not sure what you mean the map is from DEI 0.95 you might be using a mod that changes the map in game. I will not be making a steam version since I've had issues using steam workshop before, and I don't see the big difference between just downloading it and using steam workshop.

The reasons behind my changes was that client states work terribly. I've had campaigns as Rome where two of my client states went to war with one another and there was nothing diplomatically I could do. There is a mod that gives all diplomatic options to all factions I think Dresden made it should be somewhere on twcenter or steam workshop.

Yer I saw that mod. I don't think it actually gives the option for one person to have both satrapies and client states. Just wondering if you could make a separate sub-mod for DEI which would allow both options?

I think you would have to have either client states or satrapies when it comes to subjugate option for conquering the final region of a faction since it does not have 2 options in game. But you can have them choose either or in the diplomacy screen. Also both client states and vassals would not appear on the diplomacy screen which I find annoying. I'll look into it I've been away from Rome 2 for a while. I think I might try to make a tutorial on how to make small changes to the submod rather make a different version its really easy and everyone can make any changes they want to suit their playstyles also the reason why I don't use steam workshop since the auto-update would not allow that.

TO RE-ENABLE CLIENT STATES

1. Download PFM manager
2. Go to file at the top right screen and click open
3. Open my submod in the Rome 2 directory should be called aa_vassalv7
4. click on diplomatic_action_subculture_restrictions_tables and then on diplomatic_action_subculture_restrictions table
5. it will show options such as can_make_client_states or can can_make_confederations
6. click on the empty box next to the faction you want to have the option like sc_rom_roman for Rome
7. Save and play as normal

Its that easy and you still get vassals and the text changes I made.
