    Default Sands of Conquest 2.0

    I am working on "Sands of Conquest 2.0" which will have major changes, first it will remain fantasy to a degree but be based strongly in the history of the Islamic powers of Northern Africa and southern Iberia.
    It will take place before the crusades and reconquista (plenty of Jihads though), it will have a new map (which will be very accurate of the geographic area of the mod)Click image for larger version.

    which will be:

    the Taifa of Cordoba
    the Caliphate of Granada
    the Malikate of Marakesh
    the Sultanate of Tunisia
    the Emirate of Oran
    the Ghana Dynasty
    the Empire of Mali
    the Shiekdom of Tangiers

    (more factions can be added but first let me get the base mod going! LoL)
    and of course almost new everything! faction symbols, Menu ui. music, Battlefield skins, events, campaign (strat) character, Map textures and features, settlement features and textures etc.

    Slight change (for modding purposes since I already have totally reskinned portugal to look just like the African faction of Mali, I think it much to also do that to create Ghana as well~`)so I am removing Ghana and adding the emirate of Algiers (of course this faction will be heavily modified, just not as extensively as I would need to do for Ghana )

    I think I will also extend the map to include all of Iberia and include:
    Kingdom of Leon
    Kingdom of Portucal
    Kingdom of Galacia
    Kingdom of Castile
    Kingdom of Aragon
    Kingdom of the Navarre
    the Catalan counties
    and the start date will be 1100 even
