    Looks pretty solid! Is the horse armor going to be updated so that it's applied to heavy units like the Teutonic Order's heavy cavalry?

    Also, I'd be in favor of keeping the bombards mobile, though preferably with a large four-wheeled frame to lug them around like that image Marius linked. Even if it's not 100% historically accurate. Particularly with the nasty replay bug still present I'd prefer to be able to move my artillery around instead of getting stuck with whatever starting position the game curses me with. I hope you guys are able to iron that bug out soon.

    You can balance them out by making them unbelievably slow as they would be xD

    So while my fellow team members work on other things coming up. I wanted to show you guys some screens to tide you over. Sly has been hard at work making custom models to mix in and use so you don't see the same Narf or Dejawolf assets in all the units however good those models are.

    Very good job my friend!
    If I may recommend, perhaps it will be better if you increase the poly count on the neck armour of the horse in the last screenshot, so that it does not look so "boxy".

    That horse armor is badass. I hope the late era ritterbruder are going to get in on that action. They'd look hardcore.

    Battle is good enough, but look at the battle map!

    The walls and towers should be a lot stronger than they are.

    Right now(by that I mean since Rome II) they are basically just decoration.

    Towers in Attila is basically rapid fiering machine guns. I dont think they are too weak, rather to the contrary.

    Gatehouses and towers also function as self destructing landmines.

    They also need to not explode and kill everyone around them when captured. That drives me mad.

    Catapults have very limited ammo. Additionally you have to destroy the towers to improve your chances in a multi siege battle, so having them take a lot of shots is just going to add a lot of unexciting waiting to siege battles

    Agreed. This is why I use stronger walls mods for Attila. If any dinky onager can breach walls, so what larger engines like Trebuchets and Bombards are for? Walls should only be breached by concentrated heavy bombardment from large siege engines for a long time. I mean, Why Mehmed II even bothered to gather large numbers of bombards and miners? Catapult stones can't melt Theodosian Walls, thats why.

    Either that, or give them "Replenish Ammo" ability, immobilizing them for a several minutes in exchange of replenishing a small number of ammo. Yes, that can be done.

    Yes, and people forget that even with all those cannons, including the Basilic bombard, he still failed to defeat the walls.

    Sly has been working on some custom shields for use in tier 2(?) and 3 units for the various factions. Here's one of them using a real design as seen in this manuscript.

    What's exciting exactly about walls collapsing after one volley from a catapult? What would we be missing by making walls stronger, aesthetic bland lameness? Pointless siege towers? Siege towers are tactically null right now, no reason to build them. There's always the fast forward button if you can't handle a 20 minute battle.
