    Just wanted to say I really am impressed by this mod its very very well done. Have done a few campaigns at this point and every one of them has been good fun. The units/settlements/banners/ui are amazing, looks like a lot of effort went into all that and it shows. Also really like what you guys did with the combat animations it really looks and works well. Also the overall stability has been great IDK if I have had a single crash come to think of it. If you guys are interested I have a fix for the square projectile/smoke trails tho you might have already fixed that.

    The fire arrow smoke trails and trails for the trebuchet rocks (cannon ball trail set I think) were still square for me so idk if that fix was in or not. I had to do this with botet to get some of those damn squares squashed. But give this a shot and let me know if it works out or not.

    In all honesty, I believe this mod is the ultimate version of Medieval 2 Total War. There could not be a better version of this game since this mod exploits its mechanics to 400%! No other mod equals it, in terms of mechanics, even if there are some more epic or historical one out there. I would have liked to see a version of ROTK for the Hundred Years War or a Sengoku Jidai version, with events like in ROTK, historical characters already present in all the faction to make them rich and immersive, everyone with a detailed biography, innovative traits like in ROTK, nonaligned characters ready to be recruited to the cause of our nation ... Anyway I have said it once, I'll say it again, this mod is the best that exists to date.

    edit : I just imagine the event being triggered, Joan of Arc enter the service of the King of France. I got chills. The Hundred Years War was also a Civil War not only divided in two faction. There was a lot of faction and change of loyalty, a noble could fight a battle for France and another for England. Kings and noble from the Roman Empire have participated in this civil war. Anyway... the version of ROTK for the Hundred Years War would have been epic!

    If pike and shot is your thing then try 1648, it got an award for historical accuracy, which includes massive, accurate family trees. The mission scripting is however fairly unique to RotK, the only other mod I recall using it is the hobbit campaign for TATW.

    I had a look but failed to get it working. Possibly had an earlier version.

    Should be fun, although I have no idea how it will work out when it comes to hand to hand battle. To a certain extent you can already do so by 'following' (press delete once the unit is selected) the unit and zooming in completely.

    Yeah the earlier version were only working with the original M2TW, and not steam version or any other than the disc version. But now, I'm not sure what is the development state. Appolo said in the video that someone came back to work on it to make it usable with steam version and mods.

    All of the unique units, including the White Plume, have such in their unit description: "Unique Unit. Only one of this unit exists. Can be retrained at Clan Institution line of buildings". So, basically, there can only ever be one "White Plume" unit; once it is destroyed, there can never be another "White Plume" unit. The same goes for all other unique units.
