Tatics suggestion for the Masaesyli?

I recently started a masaesyli campaign, very interesting and unique. Though they are currently abit lacking in units.

I find them fun and challanging, I am just having a hard time finding good enaugh tactics. Thining about the amount of skirmishers they have skirmishing is naturally going to be they way they win battles.
But does anybody have any good tactics you use in battle with this faction?

They have good infantry early on (not the spearmen but swordsmen) and back them up with a lot of archers. I conquered all southern provinces within no-time.

I used those swordsmen against the iberiens and they got shredded...
