    Default Divide Et Impera Without New Units

    Hi all,

    First at all,awesome mod guys!! ty for your work.

    I have a question;

    I would like to play your mod without many units.I like them,but they are too many for me.

    To remove them, I have to remove the strings only in building_units_allowed_tables?!

    You dont have to recruit all units. Just choose this or that unit to be your personal main unit for recruiting and ignore the other units. Also most of the AOR units can be ignored in late game. Not playing a mod because of too much variety is funny i say.

    Well, it will be a lot of work for you, since there are no vanilla units for some factions anymore And yes, I am one of those guys who don't understand why more variety of units is a problem, just pick best units ;P This mod is still not that much unit overloaded compared to some other overhaul mods

    you cant compare this mod to other mod
    it aiming way to low in my opinion,
    the other mod simply dont have the manpower to make it
    look like a overhaul.
    but this not justify dei the best mod of all time

    for me it's still need alot of tweak on gameplaying desgin to become a new Rs2 or EB

    for instance, because of the old rome total war unit retraining system,it force you to buying mec troops when you fight on foreigen territory if you wanna keep your army at full strength.
    in old classic mod RS2 and EB, they had utilise this and intergrate into their own AOR systems, as a result you fighting force will alway consist a protion of AOR unit, not because you feel bored or want to look how nice those unit are but the mod itself force you to use it. that is what game design is all about

    dont take it in a worng way, ofc am aware of what difference between rome2 and rome1, what i meant is could there be a similar way to enhance the gameplay even more? for example why dont give a auxsilary barrack 1 turn build time and use it for unlock ALL of the AOR unit instead of use lvl3 or 4 city centre which will take at least 6 turn to build or convert? why the top tier barrack can only be unlock at almost the very end of the game when the most important and decisive battle was happened in the first 40 to 80 turn while you are force to fight with milltia unit where 1 or 2 elite unit can atually make difference.

    another one why allow trainning facility to exsist? its encourge you to build all of your force from one city area full of training facility which is competely against the idea of unit variety

    we had the best graphic compare to all rome2 mod, i just feel maybe its time to enrich the gameplay a little. it hasnt been that different since the mod firstly released

    This mod hasn't even had its first full release yet. I'd say they're doing quite well. Definitely one of the quickest paces I've seen in mod development. I, for one, am excited to see what they can do in future releases.

    I agree that we are not on the level of EB yet. But, you have to consider those mods had years of development on a game that was patched a few times. We have had less than 1 year and have produced this mod and updated through 14 patches. We are still in a beta form but provide our work for your enjoyment. We hope to one day to be on the level of a masterpiece like EB.
