captains have stats,command, reputation,etc and be given titles, like in mtw1, i saw screens of the campaign in mtw2 and i saw the generals with faces!!,so i think sadly they wont bring this feature back,its going to be the annoying rtw generals where only nobility gets to have command and traits, not that this will bother me too much.

Yeah I'm missing them a bit... Every unit had their own leaders, it added some more depth to it. You could follow sir Gregor the Frenchkiller through the campaign and watch his progress and his unit's kills after battles. In M2 there will be just family members... Not so big deal afterall, but I really miss these little things from Medieval. :wink:

I don't mind having only generals. In fact the RTW system is already a bit too much for me when the characters have a whole list of traits and retainers. Sometimes I wish we could limit the number to make it easier to manage. I love the idea of character traits and retinue, but when there are too many of them it becomes hard to micromanage and they lose much of their meaning in the game, IMO. I am sure we will still get to see captains promoted into the nobility though

I will miss the title system of MTW, however. BI brought it back - more or less - but it was hard to manage because you could never be sure when a title would become available, or the title would be buried somewhere between the other ancillaries.
