Third Age Total War crashing !

Third Age Total War 3.2 crashing, Windows 7, Non-Steam Version
Crashes usually happen during a battle but sometimes on the campaign map, I have deleted map.rwm, ran the game as admin, turned off daylight savings, deleted the .bin files, and have deleted the descr_geography_file (not the db one as I had read a thread on how you shouldn't delete it)

Need help, love playing this mod but the crashes are taking the fun out of it completely.

Do you have a log report (found in .../Medieval II Total War/logs)?
Do you get the message it is "an unknown error occured"?

Do you use any submods to TATW?

Have you had TATW installed earlier on your computer?

Not sure about the log, but I do get the 'Medieval 2 has encountered and unspecified error' message
I use the Divide and Conquer sub mod
I have installed Third age total war prior, however I deleted all data from that install so that I had a clean install

Could you explain a bit more what did you do, and how did you install Divide and Conquer submod?

i had installed TATW before, so to get a clean install this time, I went through my registry and deleted any entry
I installed the Divide and Conquer public beta then patched it to 1.2 with the hotfix also

You need to install TATW 3.0 both parts + TATW 3.2 Patch as a base for Divide and Conquer, which is a submod for TATW 3.2.

If I were you, I would test TATW 3.2 and can you start a campaign, and if you can, I would make a backup of Third_Age_3 folder in case you need to install another submod or just as a backup.
