Hello everyone, just looking for a bit of help with an issue I'm experiencing.
Basically, I've installed the mod, up to the 3.2 version. I am using a retail bought copy of Medieval II: Gold fully updated to the latest standard. The installation of the mod itself went fine and I can launch it, I've also played a few custom battles. The issue I'm experiencing is that it's incredibly unstable, with constant CTDs. I have played this mod before, a few months ago, and I remember I had the same issue. I fixed it then by running the game as an administrator. So I tried to do that now but when I do it the game fails to launch with the message "windows cannot find kingdoms.exe".
This doesn't happen if I don't run it as admin but then the game CTDs to the point of being unplayable. So any help on fixing it is hugely appreciated!
I'm running the game on a Windows 7 PC, with my OS installed on C: Drive, which is an SSD. My Medieval II installation is below:
"E:\Program Files (x86)\SEGA\Medieval II Total War\mods\Third_Age_3
Medieval II itself works fine, played it a bunch. As do other mods like Stainless Steel 6.4, which I've never CTD in. I really want to play Third Age again so any advice would help me a lot, thank you.![]()
