Very strange shadows on buildings/walls during sieges

Either your GPU or CPU are tanking or your version of SS is corrupted it appears...

Reinstalling MTW and then SS didn't help :/

Is your cpu and/or gpu running properly? If they are overheating I imagine it could be causing your graphics problems although I am not 100% sure. I know for laptops I have had before they always would get too hot too fast playing GPU heavy games.

I came across the exact same problem as described in this thread. All evidence would suggest that the update has caused this.

Regarding hardware malfunctioning or overheating, sure, that can cause problems as well. However it's quite unlikely that that is the case here.

My laptop is an Asus Republic of Gamers, purchased 2 years ago, and this hadn't happened until the "''""""update,""""''" so it has to be their fault

Had the same problem. This game runs through Steam and I noticed several posts on their forums relating to the "Dark Shadows" Well somebody finally fixed the glitch and everything looks to be back to normal. Thanks somebody!
