Ancient Empires Total War-For MTW2

This mod will be for MTW2, and some of the main factions will be ones like Egypt, Assyria, Aksum, Hittites, etc. The area of the mod wil be around the Tigris and Euphrates. I will be the researcher, but I can't mod, so I will need people willing to do that.

Some of the Assyrian units for anyone interested:

Hunters
Hunter Archers
Armored Archers
Elite Archers (Have Spear as well)
Slingers
Armoured Slingers
Lion Tamers
Light Chariots
Heavy Chariots
Guarded Archers (possible name, they were a group of two men, hiding behind a massive shield)
Swordsmen
Armored Swordsmen

EDIT: New Assyrian units!

Light Chariots
Heavy Chariots
General's Bodyguard (chariots)

I also have a list of possible cities/provinces beginning to take shape.

Maybe more to come, this is a W.I.P. I'm Thinkin of having this modstart at around 900 B.C., and end at a date that is as of yet, unkown. If anyone is interested, PLEASE pm me.

good idea, relly i havn't seen a mod like that yet on the community, except one that died short after he started , really good idea , and please don't give it up.

Thanks! I'm hoping that this one will last longer, and that there will be more popularity because it will run onthe all new MTW2 engine. Currently, i'm doing work in Assyria.

Maybe you could use some of Rise of Persias work, they have extensivly researched that time period. Well not exactly the same period but a lot of it would work though.
