Default how to change unit uniform colors

hi I have a question for whoever reads this post.

I just made a mod that changed Macedon's banner, uniform colors, and logo into the colors and logo of total war alexander's Macedon and I have a small problem.
the uniform color change worked but I'm having a problem with the (I think that they are called) variants (like how Rome has dudes with red shields but a few have yellow shields instead) Macedon's new color is purple (to go with the total war alexander theme) but the variant units are yellow and that clashes beyond belief with the purple. so my question is how do I change the unit's variant color away from yellow?

side note. I know how to use pack file manager and the variant editor included in TWeak.

    Thanks in advance!

In the Variant Editor you can play around with how the colours are applied to each piece of clothing and shield by clicking on the individual part and checking different options in the Properties area in the bottom left of the screen. I'm not sure if this has much, if any, effect at all in game so don't expect a miracle. In that case you'll need to play around with the Primary, Secondary and Tertiary colours until you find a good balance.

Have you tried using the units_variant_colours tables in PFM?
