    Default No "Bride Presented" offers

My bloodline is dying out because there are zero bride offers for my remaining (male) family members. It has happened in both my Crusader States campaign and my Turks campaign. In both cases I had started the late campaign and, in an effort to preserve the bloodline, I declined all adoptions and all suitors. At some point, however, after several tens of turns, I found myself without bride offers for my faction heir and any other family member. They where threatened to be a dead end to my bloodline. In both cases, I had 20-30 regions and 5-6 generals.

Is there any fix for this, or is it a part of the game?

I managed to somewhat "fix" this in my current campagin by going to \Medieval II Total War\mods\SS6.3\data

    And opening "descr_campaign_db" with notepad.

the line you are looking for is <max_age_of_child uint="1"/>

on your side you may see a 12 (I think default is 10 or 12)

By lowering this to 1 you increase the amount of offered addoptions and offers of wives, I still have no idea how exactly this works however...

AS ALWAYS REMEMBR TO MAKE A BACK UP COPY OF THE ORIGINAL BEFORE ANYTHING ELSE!!!

I can see the problem here...

All your male family members are ugly.

I know you're joking but many years ago in one of my campaigns I had a wonderful family member (6 command stars, high loyality, piety and good traits in general) except he had this trait "Ugly" or "hunchedback" I'm not sure exactly but it was funny because he never got a single marriage offer and died a lonely saint... :,(
