Well, for me it's still Paul Hunter but due to his tragic death recently I'll go for a living player and say Ronnie O'Sullivan, simply because he's awesome and has a bit of an attitude too.

Stephen Hendry because of his temperament. Second favourite would be "crafty Ken" Doherty for sheer tenacity.

Hell no! snooker is far more sophisticated, shame about paul hunter only 27 I believe. Always loved steven hendry when I was ickle, havnt been following the snooker lately really should great game.

Snooker is like pool, all of the same equipment is used(pool cue, pool table, coloured balls with numbers on them), but the rules are different.

The balls (15 reds, a yellow, brown, green, blue, pink and black) are smaller too and have no numbers on them. The snooker cue typically has a narrower tip.

Yes. But snooker isn't exactly like pool. I mean that players hit a common ball, the cue ball, but rules are different and table's dimensions are bigger that normal pool table. Both pool and snooker are among the best sports! Btw, where does pool/snooker come from?
