Archers won't fire in siege defence (crusader states)

Hi,

When i place my archers on the walls in the deployment fase and then start the battle, they barely fire arrows. Even when i am repositioning them on the walls, 1 of the 120 archers fires an arrow at a selected target. this happens in all my settelments and it is starting to piss me off because i cant do any damage with them.

Also, positioning them on the walls is bugged sometimes. For example: you try to place them allong the ramparts and they just gonna stand next to each other in a circle ...

I play the crusader states in SS6.4, and the unit is crossbow militia.

Is this a bug or am doing someting wrong here...

Sometimes it helps to turn off the "fire at will" and just target the enemy unit.
