    Default removing food and squalor requirements, need help learning how to

    First let me say it's not about difficulty, it's about how little sense those systems made in the game. Making cities better made people angry? Buildings that eat food? The older games did it better. That said I used to use a mod that fixed this problem by setting all the bonuses and penalties to 0 and since it hasn't been updated I'd like to learn how to do it myself. What programs do I need, files do I edit, I've done very basic things before but I don't even know where to start here.

    Did you even read any tutorials, lol...

    Anyway here;

    step 1 Download PFM - http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showt...a-improvements

    step 2Run PFM > File > My mods > New Mod. Follow steps

    step 3 File open > open CA PACk > data_rome2 > DB >building_effects_junctions_tables > Right click and extract

    step 4 right click add from file > open created folder from step 3

    building effects junction . value is the food it gives and damaged value is squalor. I believe. Not to sure as i just found it. Make sure building is correct and also effect.

    Once done, save the mod > copy mod > open game in PFM > data directory > paste mod

    open steam > press play > mod manager > tick box > click your mod

    than test in game.

    I better get payed like 10 grand for this.

    Have fun!

    Honestly no I didn't, I know there's a ton of stuff relating to mods so I figured the quickest way to find out would be just to ask. Let me go over this and let you know how it works out. Thanks and yeah, 10,000 denarii are in the mail

    Now having just removed all squalor and food from the game it's telling me it's for an older version of the game. That makes no sense. Is it because it doesn't have all the DLC?

    But does the mod work? is your game updated. If all it says in the mod manager is that it's out of date. I was told that's just how it is. Don't worry about that. As long as the mod works.

    It does and I love you for it. Now that I know how to do it and keep it updated I feel so great.
