Default computer controlled armies and time out

I have just reinstalled RTW and when I play (I've gone for arcade games etc.) and have more than two armies one is always AI controlled and there a time limit on the battle. I have lost the manual and can not for the life of me find out how to put unlimited time on the battle. Please help.

You must restart your entire campaign, when you go to 'Imperial Campaign' you must click the box 'Unlimited Time' on... :]

im pretty sure u don't have to restart ur campaign. just hit esc (so that menu comes up with save, load, etc) and click game options. there should be something like "no battle time limit" jus click that and ur good.

And to have unlimited men on a battlefield you have to edit your prefrences text in the RTW folder. You still cant control more then 20 units but it will allow massive battles. Though you might want to make sure your computer can handle it. As mine cannot, you loose alot of your micro control of your units because of the lag created by 10,000+ men on the battlefield.....

Download RomeSage. You can switch the battle time limit on and off during a campaign using that tool. You can find it in our downloads section.
