The two armies meet outside Babylon, one of the oldest cities in the world and a symbol of the great and glorious Persian Empire of old. Parmenion, King of Babylon, faces the rebel army of the self-proclaimed King Artaxerxes VI. The scorching sun was burning the soldiers, drawn up on a plain next to the great Euphrates.
1000 Median cavalry 3000 points
1000 Hellenistic cataphracts 3000 points
Light troops
1500 persian archers 1500 points
1500 Babylonian slingers 1500 points
Total: 10,000 men
NOTE: 200 elites were removed for this battle as your army limit is 10,000 men. I will advise you to reorganize your army composition afterwards to fit the correct caps.
Rebel Army
Commander: Artaxerxes VI
500 Persian Mounted Archers (Cav) (1,500 points)
1,000 Persian Swordsmen (Heavy) (2,000 points)
2,000 Persian Spearmen (Light) (2,000 points)
1,500 Persian Archers (Light) (2,000 points)
Total: 5,000 men
OOC: Aspisa, I would require battle orders for your forces.
- Light troops will first harrass the center of the enemy troops
- light troops reterat
- Cavalry and elite troops (silver+white shields) attack the enemy from the rear
- Heavy infantry attacks the centre from the front
- Note : Parmenion leads the elite troops directly
The troops are ready for battle, shields have been raised, spears are shining in the hot son, all soldiers were confident in victory , after all they were facing persian pretenders who are numerical inferior. Before the battle erupts, parmenion would speak encouraging words to the soldier to improve the morale.
Today we will feast men, Victory is nearly ours over these pretenders, what you see overthere is an army of angry mobs outnumbered and outclassed by our brave soldiers, and remember we also have Pallas Athena on our side, fight brave and without fear and this battle will be remembered is the total victory over persian opposition! Fight for Macedon, fight for Philip II, fight for king and honor!
Shields clattered , spears are shining, today Parmenion would lead his soldiers to victory.

Phase 3
3. Rout
Due to the large amounts of casualties to the cavalry is the Parmenid Army not able to chase down some of the fleeing rebels.
A roll will see if Parmenion was wounded during the battle.
Roll (D20, see rules): 17
Parmenion gets through the battle without a scratch.
Result:
The Parmenid side is victorious and the rebels flee the field. However, the elites of the army, the cavalry, the Silver Shields and the White Shields, lost most of their strength on the flanks because of the lack of backup and lack of missile units. The rebels have lost the battle but a big part of their army is still intact, with Artaxerxes VI still alive. While Parmenion and his men rest at Babylon (province 64) (won't be able to move for 6 hours), Artaxerxes' army retreats to province 71 and rests for 6 hours from now.
Remnants of the armies
Rebels 368 Persian Mounted Archers (Cav)
591 Persian Swordsmen (Heavy)
1,182 Persian Spearmen (Light)
922 Persian Archers (Light)
'Parmenion and his Army leaves Babylon To hunt the remaining rebels in the province where they have fled To.'
Ooc : i assume that i still have won the Battle, ofc if it happens that i've lost it somehow then i'll edit the post after the corrections You have made.

After the recent parmenid Victory the pretender Artaxerxes VI and his army fled to province of Susa. Parmenion after the celebration of his victory had commanded his army to face the remaining cowards and pretenders in susa. Parmenion aims to end Civil war for once and for all in his realm
Left flank :
- Missile infantry harass the enemy troops
- missile troops retreat
- Cavalry supported by the white shields (elite) and hoplites (heavy) attack the enemy right flank.
- if successful they try to attack the enemy center in the rear
Center :
- Missile infantry harass the enemy troops
- Missile troops retreat
- Heavy infantry (foot companions + hoplites) engages the enemy center
right flank :
- Missile infantry harass the enemy troops
- Missile troops retreat
- Parmenion along with his silver shields (elite) , foot companions (heavy), and hoplites attack the enemy left flank
- if succesful they try to attack the enemy center in the rear
OOC: I'm rolling this as a one flank battle since the numbers are small.
Missile barrage:
In three volleys, the Parmenion archers are able to score a miraculous 90% of their arrows finding a target, resulting int he death of 50% of the enemy army. Infantry Clash:
With their morale already low, what is left of the opposing Artaxerxen army is defeated by the Parmenion army.
Casualties:
Parmenion: 5% casualties to the infantry Artaxerxen: 50%+, remaining men have melted away and disbanded
Fate of Artaxerxes:
He survives the battle and manages to escape beign captured.

Reason: Rewritten to make more sense
'Victory!, we are victorious and the enemy has been defeated! The civil war has finally ended in a crushing Parmenid victory, after years and years of campaigning Parmenion showed that he's still a capable commander at his 56 years old age. Take the loot from our enemy's and let the world know that nobody can bring down the divine powers of the Parmenids. May Hades rape our enemy's corpes in the mid of the night and bring their souls to the Tartarus!
After the battle Parmenion took some rest and began to tell how many casualties the Parmenid army led, they counted 420 (5%) deaths among them. 'May our died hero's go to the divine Elysium in the afterlife' After his sacrifice to Ares, the god of war, Parmenion was preparing himself to depart to Babylon, for soon expansion would start in Mesopotamia.
