Dr. Mac and I started a slow game with 3 days per move.
3 moves later Dr. Mac has yet to make another move. He has 24 hours to make a move or I win.
That counts right?![]()

May have been because I visited him and his many other responsibilities... He'll get around.
There was a little confusion as you were online and I asked If i could play my game against you then and there
Shall poke him
I won my game against Dr mac, there is no screen but he can confirm it. If this is unacceptable we'll have a remach online ( much more fun to play in RL ).
Working on playing Legouro asap

Legourou and Mithridate's victories against Dr Mac have been added. 6 games to go before the Group Stages are complete!
IZob and I have managed another 30 moves. I'm only a dozen moves from victory and just waiting on him.

I lost to youngfool, really wish i could have played the game all in one go as it kinda hurt me but i was beaten fair and square.
i think one game knock out is sort of cruel, I would rather prefer best of threes, nevertheless

one nil against quaila_Romanus and the black knight
Reg: They've taken everything we had and what have they ever given us in return!?
Xerxes: The aqueduct. Reg: Oh yeah, yeah they gave us that. Yeah that's true.
Activist 1: And the sanitation!
Stan: Oh yes...sanitation, Reg you remember what the city used to be like.
Reg: all right, that's two things that the Romans have done...
Matthias: And the roads...
Reg: Well yes obviously the roads goes without saying. But apart from...
Activist 2, 3, 4, 5: Irrigation...Medicine...Education...and the wine...
Francis: Yeah the wine. That's something we'd really miss if the Romans left.
Group D seems to have concluded with Youngfool's victory over both his opponents. Just the middle two groups to go and then we're into the semi-finals!
I'll get together with Aspasia tomorrow. I've been in Maryland this past weekend.
Aspasia, shoot me a PM with times (GMT or EST) that are good for you. I'm pretty much good most of the day.
I tried to get with Aspasia today but never heard from him, so I guess I'll have to try again tomorrow.
As per the PM, f0ma has defeated Aspasia and advances out of Group B. Izob/Loose Cannon's game is ongoing last I heard: if LC wins he will advance and the Group Stages will end.
And the Group stage is over

Loose has defeated me. I fumbled a move early on and since then I was in his shadow. Oh well, good luck to you Loose.
edit: Oh sorry looseI didn't know you were using chat at the time, I wasn't on that tab and didn't think to look at it.
Thanks, I was mainlining coffee and looking at laminate flooring, too. Thought I messed up there when you slipped that bishop in.
