    Default my game has stopped working.why ?

    i have been playing this game on windows 8.now when i load it from the cd it wont play.it says this application is not compatible with the installed operating system.please upgrade.i have been playing this game and now it wont play.i uninstalled it and now it wont install it.whats happening ?

    Win 8 = disable the UAC preferably in the registry.
    Now you have to finish uninstalling it, starting with deleting TWO Medieval II total War folders and hopefully Ccleaner finds the rest.
    CA's uninstaller has been a piece of garbage since Shogun1 and last checked nothing has changed through Rome2.
