    Default NTW2 news update

Just a nice little update, I would like to stress this is still all Work in Progress and are not finished versions.

There has been an internal change of release plans, within two weeks we would like to release a Waterloo 1815 scenario MP package, this will give you all Prussian, United Netherlands(Dutch-Belgian-Nassau) and Brunswick units and a big pool of MP maps to play with. Around the end of November we will release a Waterloo 1815 scenario SP package, that will include the special SP scripted historical battles like Quatre-Bras, Ligny, Waterloo etc...As a last bonus the Austrians will follow shortly after.

-Here you see a picture of WIP on Ligny, a village center and some Prussian units.

-Work in progress on Waterloo here you see a part of the Mont St. Jean ridge with British square, partially protected by hedges, being attacked by French cuirassiers.

-Here on popular demand the first screens of some Brunswick units

    Brunswick Avantgarde Lights

    Brunswick Hussars

    Brunswick Leib Garde

    Brunswick General en Uhlans

Just to give you all some insight some other details we also seek to improve and include in the coming 1815 Waterloo MP package that is coming soon.

New slower Rifle animations, of course they have a longer range and accuracy to compensate.

More differentiation between heavy and light artillery reload speeds.

yep, both gunners cover only one ear..
i'd say it is routine.. because a 6pounder is not as loud as a 12 pounder?

Are the rifle load animations necessarily slower, or just more historically accurate as far as the motions?

Great animations guys, keep up the good work!
It has been surmised, that perhaps, my lord had become like a wild animal that had been kept too long. Perhaps, but whatever... freedom... so long an unremembered dream, was his.
The children of Doom...Doom's children. They told my lord the way to the mountain of power. They told him to throw down his sword and return to the earth...HA!! time enough for the earth in the grave.

I think I have ADD. Just kinda read the first 2 posts then right something of my own. Oh well, I take enough stuff Anyway, the question is as follows - so there won't be an eventual MP or SP campaign map with 7-8 or so factions on it, letting you do your own thing? Transferring the work to MIITW would be great though. Conquer America as France... Reconquer America as Britain. Much better technology at your disposal too (with MIITW).

Put everything a bit in perspective, the situation today is we cannot use the MTW2 engine at all. There is no unpacker or even one tool available at this date for MTW2. CA may release it in the future or may not, basically they are still vague about their plans. Right now we are dead in the water. Please read and follow this discussion.

P.S. This does not mean we at The Lordz are just sitting and waiting doing nothing, our plans for the future are getting clear and we will announce them soon.

Concerning NTW2, we hope to release the Austrians and new stuff and patches within a week.
